  • The android SLC-56 appears in level 42 as the protagonist.
  • Press all 5 buttons and then finish the level by walking over to the now open door on the right side of the level. 3 of the buttons are above ground.
  • These are the easier ones, as being underwater drastically reduces both your ability to disengage and the effectiveness of your railgun.
  • The other 2 are under the water on opposite sides of the map. The enemies of the level, CS-Ghosts, spawn infinitely up to a cap of ten, so it is recommended to avoid them more often than engage them.
  • They can dispatch you incredibly quick if not careful, even on the lowest difficulty, so you must be cautious and use what little information you have at your disposal to detect them, such as sound or limited visual cues.
  • Briefly dipping into water is actually a good way to tell if there are any pursuing you, as they reveal themselves by creating visible splashes.

Going too fast is not recommended. If you are not careful, you often hit a wall and die from the momentum due to the reduced 400 health of the android.[]

A silver lining is that you wield the Heavy Railgun, one of if not THE most powerful gun in the game, per-shot wise.

This means that dispatching a ghost from range is as easy as a single click in their direction, usually. Unfortunately, it has a long reload time: so use your shots carefully, or you'll end up diced scrap.

Positioning and timing are crucial here. As mentioned earlier, the ghosts relentlessy pursue you at blistering speeds, and unless killed not much of anything can stop them from doing so, as they are much harder to detect than any other enemy in the game.

Trivia:

  • It is the fastest playable character in campaign, alongside the secret Androids in Level 37.
    • There have been speculations that this particular Android was built by the Civil Security and then went postal.
      • It could be a prototype that the Civil Security built and placed in that cave for testing. It could have malfunctioned, which explains why the Civil Security Ghosts were there to destroy or train it.
